1

Peel the potatoes.

2

Shred the potatoes using a machine or by hand.

3

Remove as much water as possible from the shredded potatoes.

4

Mix the shredded potatoes with 300-400 grams of flour and a tiny bit of salt.

5

Use a wooden spoon or your hands to mix until you have a solid but muddy dough.

6

Boil water in a big pot.

7

Form tiny balls with your hands and place some pork or shredded bacon in the middle of each ball.

8

Drop the balls into the boiling water and cook for 20 to 30 minutes.

9

When the balls start floating, let them cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.

10

Serve the palt on a plate, cut in pieces or half, and place butter in the middle to melt.

11

Optionally add lingonberry jam and enjoy with a big glass of milk.

12

If reheating, fry the palt in butter for a different taste.
