Peel the potatoes.
Shred the potatoes using a machine or by hand.
Remove as much water as possible from the shredded potatoes.
Mix the shredded potatoes with 300-400 grams of barley flour and a tiny bit of salt until a solid but muddy dough forms.
Boil water in a large pot.
Make tiny balls with the dough and place some pork or shredded bacon in the middle of each ball.
Gently drop the balls into the boiling water and cook for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Once they start floating, let them cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
Serve the palt with butter, milk, and lingonberry jam if desired.
