4 Cardamom Pods
3 Whole Cloves
1 Cinnamon Stick
2 Dried Apricots
2 tbsp chopped Candied Orange Peel
0.75 Cup Light Brown Sugar
2 Peels of one fresh Orange

Add the Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon, Apricots, and Candied Orange Peel to a cheesecloth and tie it with twine.

Pour the Red Wine into a pot and add Raisins, Almonds, and the cheesecloth.

Let steep at room temperature for 8-10 hours.

Slice the fresh Orange Peel and place it in a bowl covered with Brown Sugar, letting it sit at room temperature for 8-10 hours.

After steeping, warm the wine on medium heat without boiling.

Add the Orange Peel and Sugar, stirring until the Sugar dissolves.

Remove from heat and stir in the Brandy.

Fish out the cheesecloth bag and discard it.

Optionally, light the wine on fire for a brief moment before extinguishing it.

Keep warm on low heat or in a Crockpot set to warm.
