Cheese Fondue

1 cup grated gruyere cheese
1 cup grated emmental cheese
2 garlic cloves
½ cup + 3 tablespoons white wine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder
French bread, cut into pieces for serving

Heat a non-stick pan and rub garlic cloves inside. Add ½ cup white wine and let it heat for 1 minute.

Add lemon juice, swirl and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add emmental cheese and mix. Add gruyere cheese and mix till both the cheese melts.

Take cornstarch in a bowl. Add remaining white wine and mix well to make a slurry. Add it to cheese mixture, mix and cook till it thickens.

Add nutmeg powder and whisk well.

Serve immediately with French bread pieces.
