1 tablespoon garlic pieces
1 teaspoon ginger pieces
2 green chilies finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
2 large sized tomatoes

1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin and coriander powder
1 teaspoon sesame seeds powder
1/2 teaspoon sichuan pepper powder
2 cups lukewarm water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
some green onions
10 uncooked chicken momos
some coriander leaves

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Add 1 medium sized onion and sauté until translucent.

Add 1 tablespoon of garlic pieces and 1 teaspoon of ginger pieces, cooking for another minute.

Add 2 finely chopped green chilies and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, mixing well.

Add 2 large sized tomatoes and salt to taste; cover and cook until tomatoes are soft.

Once soft, add 1 teaspoon of kashmiri red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin and coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of sichuan pepper powder (optional).

Pour in 2 cups of lukewarm water and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, stirring well.

Add 10 uncooked chicken momos to the soup.

Add some salt to taste and some coriander leaves.

Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until the momos are cooked through.

Serve hot, garnished with remaining coriander leaves and green onions.
