Add jaggery to the mixture and knead until fully incorporated.
In a separate pan, heat ghee and add grated coconut, stirring for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Add cardamom and salt to the coconut mixture, then remove from heat.
Shape the rice dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
Stuff each ball with a spoonful of the coconut mixture.
Roll the balls in sesame seeds until coated evenly.
Steam the rice balls for 15-20 minutes until firm and cooked through.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Optionally, drizzle with honey or syrup before serving.
