Dahi (yogurt) - 2 cup
Besan (gram flour) - 2 tbsp
Water - 1.5 cup
Salt - to taste
Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tbsp
Rai (mustard seeds) - 1 tsp
Cumin (jeera) - 3/4 tsp
Ajwain (carom seeds) - 1/4 tsp
Ginger - 1 inch
Garlic - 5-6 cloves
Green chilly - 2-3
Curry leaves - few
Hing (asafoetida) - 1/8 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2-3 tbsp, chopped

In a bowl, mix dahi (yogurt) and besan (gram flour) with water until smooth.

Add salt to taste and mix well.

In a pan, heat ghee and add rai (mustard seeds), cumin (jeera), ajwain (carom seeds), and let them splutter.

Add chopped ginger, garlic, green chilies, and curry leaves; sauté for a minute.

Pour the yogurt mixture into the pan and stir continuously to avoid curdling.

Add turmeric powder and hing (asafoetida), and cook on low heat until it thickens.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
