2 cloves garlic
1 and 1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp Aleppo pepper
1 pack store-bought wonton dough
1 tbsp softened butter
2 tbsp melted butter
4 cups chicken broth
5 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 tsp onion powder
garlic yogurt (made with grated garlic and yogurt)
1

Make homemade dough by mixing 2 cups flour and 1 and 3/4 tsp salt in a large mixing bowl.

2

Add 2/3 cups water and mix with a spoon until it comes together.

3

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it is no longer sticky.

4

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap or a damp towel and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

5

In a food processor, finely chop 1 onion and 2 cloves of garlic.

6

Combine the chopped onion and garlic with 1 lb ground beef, 1 and 1/2 tsp salt, and 2 tbsp Aleppo pepper in a bowl.

7

Mix the meat filling with gloves until well incorporated.

8

Optionally, use store-bought wonton dough, cut into quarters for filling.

9

Grease an 8-inch round cake pan with 1 tbsp softened butter.

10

Fill each wonton square with 1/4 tsp of meat filling and seal by wetting edges with cold water.

11

Preheat the oven to 400°F and bake for 30 to 40 minutes for wonton dough or 50 to 60 minutes for homemade dough.

12

For the sauce, combine 4 cups chicken broth and 5 tbsp tomato paste in a pot, whisk until dissolved, and add 1/4 tsp onion powder.

13

Simmer the sauce until thickened, then serve over the baked manti.
