1/2 cup rice
1 to 1 1/2 cup curd/yogurt
salt as per taste
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin/jeera seeds
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp chana dal
10 – 12 curry leaves
1 green chilli
2 red chillies whole
handful coriander leaves/cilantro
2 tbsp pomegranate
8 – 10 cashew
1/2 tsp ginger
1 1/2 cup water

Cook the rice until soft and let it cool completely.

Mix the cooled rice with yogurt/curd to achieve the desired consistency.

Add salt to taste.

In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, green chilli, and red chillies to temper the mixture.

Pour the tempering over the rice and yogurt mixture.

Garnish with coriander leaves, pomegranate, and cashews before serving.
