Boil the milk.

Let it cool down until lukewarm.

Add dahi (curd) to the lukewarm milk and mix well.

Keep it overnight to set the curd.

Strain the excess water from the curd after it has set.

Add weight to remove leftover water and wait for 4 hours to get hung curd (chakka).

Add powder sugar to the hung curd as per taste and sift it well.

Prepare different flavors: add cardamom powder and saffron milk for one flavor, mango pulp for aamrakhand, and rose syrup with rose petals for another.
