2 Cup Refined Flour/Maida
½ tsp Carom Seeds/Ajwain
½ tsp Coarsely Ground Cumin Seeds/Jeera Powder
1 tsp Coarsely Ground Black Pepper/Kali Mirch Powder
As per taste Salt
3 tbsp Ghee (For Moyan)
As required Water (For knead the dough)
As required Oil (For Deep Fry)

In a mixing bowl, combine the refined flour, carom seeds, coarsely ground cumin seeds, coarsely ground black pepper, and salt.

Add ghee to the mixture and mix well to form a crumbly texture (this is known as moyan).

Gradually add water and knead the mixture into a smooth dough.

Cover the dough and let it rest for a while.

Roll out small portions of the dough into thin circles.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan.

Deep fry the rolled puris until they are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
