- 3Stir in minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and thyme; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- 4Toast the bread slices in a toaster or on a grill until golden brown.
- 5Top each slice of toasted bread with the mushroom mixture.
- 6Sprinkle chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese on top, if using.
