Manto, a traditional dish from Central Asia, has been embraced in Turkish cuisine, particularly in the Kayseri region. These delightful dumplings symbolize hospitality and are often served during special occasions and family gatherings. Today, variations exist across the globe, with each culture adding its unique twist to the filling and sauce, making Manto a beloved dish beyond its origins.

Mix all-purpose flour, salt, and eggs in a bowl until crumbly.
Gradually add water and knead until smooth, about 8-10 minutes.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Finely chop onion and garlic, then sauté in butter until translucent.
Combine sautéed onion and garlic with ground lamb, black pepper, and salt.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface until thin.
Cut the dough into small squares, about 3 inches each.
Place a small spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each square.
Fold the corners of the square to the center and pinch to seal tightly.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and carefully add the dumplings.
Cook until they float to the surface, about 5-7 minutes.
In a separate pan, melt butter and mix with paprika and mint.
Serve the dumplings topped with yogurt and the butter mixture.
