Vietnamese Beef Steak 'Bít Tết'

Marinate beef steak with soy sauce, black pepper, and lime juice for at least 30 minutes.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until melted.

Remove steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
In the same skillet, fry an egg sunny-side up until the whites are set but yolk is still runny, about 2-3 minutes.
Prepare a plate with fresh herbs, salad greens, sliced tomatoes, and pickled vegetables.
Slice the baguette and toast lightly if desired.
Serve the steak alongside the fried egg, fresh vegetables, and baguette.
Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the steak before serving.
