1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

olive oil
1/2 white onion
2 Roma tomatoes
1 serrano pepper
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
juice of half a lemon
3/4 cup canned black beans

Soak 1 pound of salted cod overnight.

Peel and grate 1 sweet potato, cover with lemon juice, and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Mix in 1/4 cup sugar, then stir in 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, salt, a dash of all spice, and 1/4 cup raisins.

Grease two squares of aluminum foil with butter and divide the dough into two portions.

Sauté onions, pepper slices, and garlic in oil until softened, then mix in 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce, fish pieces, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp butter, and 1/4 tsp black pepper, simmering for 5 to 7 minutes.

Remove the ducana from the water, unwrap, and plate alongside the saltfish.
