Stir in the chopped kontomire leaves and cook for about 5-7 minutes.
Add smoked fish, groundnut, and seasoning cube, mixing well.
Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to combine flavors.
In a separate pot, add water and bring to a boil.
Add the yam to the boiling water and season with salt.
Boil the yam until tender, about 20-25 minutes.
