How to make Conch Fritters

Add 1 cup of organic unbleached flour to a bowl.

Add 2.5 teaspoons of aluminum-free baking powder.

Add Old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, and fresh ground black pepper to taste.

Remove leaves from thyme, adding a small amount to the mixture.

Add minced garlic, chopped scotch bonnet, red bell pepper, carrots, and onions to the bowl.

Add 1 egg to the mixture and combine everything together.

Add a little bit of tomato sauce to the mixture.

Chop and add tenderized conch to the mixture.

Add some milk and water gradually to achieve the desired consistency.

Fry a small amount of the batter to taste for seasoning.

Use a tablespoon to scoop the batter and drop it into hot oil for frying.

Fry until golden brown, flipping as necessary to ensure even cooking.

Remove fritters and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
