Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan.

Add 2 tablespoons of edible gum and fry on low or medium heat until they pop up and turn golden brown.

Remove the fried edible gum and drain excess ghee.

In the same pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee and add 2 tablespoons of melon seeds, 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds, 2 tablespoons of sliced pistachios, 2 tablespoons of almonds, and 2 tablespoons of cashew nuts. Roast on low heat.

Add 3 tablespoons of desiccated coconut and fry until golden brown.

Remove the roasted nuts and seeds into a blender and let cool.

In the same pan, heat a little ghee and roast 1 cup of fox nuts (makhanas) until done, then remove into the grinder.

Roast 1 cup of whole wheat flour in 4-5 tablespoons of ghee until golden brown and fragrant, about 5-6 minutes.

Add 1.5 teaspoons of dry ginger powder, 0.5 teaspoon of nutmeg powder, and 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder to the roasted flour and mix well.

Let the flour mixture cool down completely.

Pound the fried edible gum into small pieces using a steel bowl.

Combine the cooled flour mixture, pounded edible gum, and 1.25 cups of powdered sugar in a bowl and mix well.

If the mixture is too dry, add hot ghee as needed.

Shape the mixture into ladoos and roll them in pistachio flakes for garnish.
