  • Whole spices (2-3 cardamom pods, 2-3 cloves, 1 stick cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. 1Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Soak it in water for 30 minutes, then drain.
  2. 2In a large pot, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies to the pot, and sauté for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
