Introduce the recipe and the concept of stroopwafels.
Show the pastry roller and describe its purpose.
Combine plain flour in a mixing bowl.
Use a pastry blender to work butter into the flour until smooth and lump-free.
Add a teaspoon of cinnamon and sugar to the flour mixture and mix well.
Create a well in the flour mixture and add 1 large egg.
Pour in warm water to activate the yeast and mix everything together.
Knead the dough lightly, adding plain flour to prevent sticking.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rise for 50 minutes.
Melt 100 grams of butter in a saucepan over low heat.
Add a teaspoon of cinnamon and vanilla extract to the melted butter.
Incorporate five squirts of golden syrup into the mixture and stir well.
Remove the caramel filling from the heat and let it cool down.
Prepare a mug of coffee to warm the stroopwafel later.
