Add oil to the pressure cooker.

Add minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to the pot.

Add coriander, cumin, turmeric, and whole cumin seeds from the spice tin.
Add turnips and carrots to the pot.
Pour in water to cover the ingredients.
Seal the pressure cooker and cook the soup.
Release the steam and open the pot after cooking.
Remove the chicken from the pot to shred it.
Shred the chicken with forks and place it into a serving bowl.
Pour the broth and vegetables over the shredded chicken.
