How to Make Authentic German Schnitzel from Scratch

Traditionally made with veal, it showcases the art of breading and frying. Today, variations exist globally, with many opting for pork or chicken, making it a versatile dish enjoyed in various forms.

Brine the thick pork chops in pickle juice for about two days.
Take the pork out and pound it off to the side until it's about half an inch thick.
Prepare three shallow dishes: one with seasoned flour (flour mixed with smoked sweet paprika and poultry seasoning), one with seasoned eggs (eggs mixed with edible ed magic dust), and one with seasoned breadcrumbs.
Dredge the pork in the seasoned flour, then dip it into the seasoned eggs, and finally coat it with the seasoned breadcrumbs.
Heat peanut oil in a skillet to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Fry the breaded pork for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the schnitzel from the oil and let it drain.
Serve the schnitzel hot.
