D-stem and cut Mia into small pieces, or use a blender for convenience.
Chop 1 onion into small pieces.
Ground 4 to 5 cloves of garlic.
In a large pot, add 2 cups of water, chopped onions, and chicken cubes.
Cook on medium heat for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked.
In another pot, add 1 cup of water and Mia, cooking for about 10 minutes.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda to the Mia to soften it and cook quicker.
Cover and let Mia cook for 10 minutes, then switch off the heat.
Let the Mia cool before blending it until smooth, but leave some bits for texture.
Pour the blended Mia into the chicken stew and mix well.
Add cumin, coriander, stock cubes, and grounded garlic to the mixture.
Cover and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes until ready.
