MYMYmain
4 servings
Servings4
1/2 long baguette (or hotdog bun)
100 gr ground meat (beef, mutton, chicken, turkey)
1/2 tsp meat curry powder
1/3 large onion (thinly sliced)
1 large egg (beaten)
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Small pinch of salt
1 Tbsp cooking oil
Ketchup
Mayonnaise
Sriracha chili sauce or sweet chili sauce
Shredded or slices of cheese (e.g., mozzarella)
Green onion (finely chopped)
Lettuce
Tomato slices
Cucumber slices
1

Toast the baguette in the oven or toaster oven for 5 minutes. Cut in half if using a long baguette and slice horizontally without cutting all the way through.

2

Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to the egg and lightly beat it. Set aside. Add curry powder and a small pinch of salt to the ground meat and stir to combine.

3

Preheat a non-stick pan. Add onion and stir fry until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Add the ground meat and stir fry until it changes color. Push everything to the middle of the pan. Pour the egg over the meat, place the baguette cut side down on top of the egg mixture, and press down to absorb juices. Cook until the eggs are set.

4

Remove from heat and flip onto a plate so the filling side is facing up.

5

Add cheese on top of the filling while warm to melt. Top with lettuce, cucumber, and/or tomato slices as desired.

6

Drizzle ketchup, chili sauce, and mayonnaise, then close the other half of the baguette and serve.
