Slice and dice 2 onions and 2 cloves of garlic into small pieces.
Heat a pan to high heat and add 2-3 tablespoons of canola oil.
Add the sliced onions and garlic to the hot oil and sauté until golden brown.
Boil 400 g of macaroni in salted water until al dente and then drain.
Add 800 g of ground beef to the pan with the onions and garlic, breaking it into small pieces and frying until cooked.
Add 50 g of butter to the beef mixture for flavor.
Season the mixture with 1 tablespoon each of dried thyme, dried onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
Stir in 800 g of tomato sauce and the juice of half a lemon.
In a separate bowl, mix together 5 eggs and 4 deciliters of milk.
Combine the macaroni with the beef mixture and the egg-milk mixture, mixing carefully.
Transfer the mixture into a large baking dish.
Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 1 hour.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
