Boil 500 ml full-fat milk in a heavy-bottomed pan until it comes to a boil.

Add 400 grams of grated paneer to the boiling milk and stir continuously to avoid sticking.

Cook the mixture on medium flame for 15 to 20 minutes until the milk reduces and thickens to a curd-like texture.

Add 200 ml of condensed milk to the mixture and stir well.

Continue cooking for another 5 to 10 minutes until the mixture reaches a barfi-like consistency.

Grease a plate with ghee and pour the mixture onto it, spreading it evenly.

Garnish the top with chopped nuts and saffron strands, pressing them gently into the mixture.

Allow it to cool at room temperature for a few hours until set, then refrigerate for 2 hours.

Cut into square pieces and serve.
