2 tablespoons cloves
1 tablespoon cardamom
6 star anise
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon pepper
1 to 3 mace
2 black cardamom
small piece of kalpasi (black stone flower)
3 bay leaves
½ cup coriander seeds

Add 3 tablespoons of cinnamon stick, 2 tablespoons of cloves, 1 tablespoon of cardamom, 6 star anise, 1 tablespoon of fennel seeds, 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds, 1 tablespoon of pepper, 1 to 3 mace, 2 black cardamom, a small piece of kalpasi, and 3 bay leaves to a pan.

Roast the spices for 1 minute on low flame.

Keep the roasted spices aside.

Add ½ cup of coriander seeds to the pan.

Roast the coriander seeds for 2 minutes on low flame.

Cool the roasted spices completely.

Grind all the roasted spices to a powder.
