1/2 kg raw bananas
1 tomato chopped finely
2-3 green chillies chopped finely
1/4 tsp. cumin seeds
2 tbsp. dabeli masala

1 tsp. coriander powder
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1/4 cup coriander leaves
3-4 tsp. oil
Chopped onion to garnish

Red chilli sauce/tamarind sauce

Heat some oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.

Add curry leaves & saute them a little.

Add chopped tomatoes & green chillies and cook them.

Add some dabeli masala and mash it a little.

Add the spices, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder & salt. Mix well.

Add in mashed raw bananas and mix everything well and cook for a minute or two.

Now for layering, take a shallow bowl. Spread banana mixture evenly. Now, spread masala Peanuts. Keep it aside.

To make dabeli, take a bun and split it in the middle. Apply some red chili sauce on one side and some green chutney on the other.

Take a spoonful of the banana masala and spread it nicely on the bun and cover it.

On a non-stick pan, toast the dabeli on all sides with butter, press it a little and serve warm.
