1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
1½ tsp salt
6-7 green chilies, slit
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ cup water
1½ tbsp raisins
2 tbsp cashew paste
1 cup hot milk
1 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp powdered milk
a small pinch of sugar
fried onions for garnish

Add the sliced onions and whole spices (cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves, bay leaves). Cook until the onions turn light pink.
