2 teaspoons tomato paste
1 beef bouillon cube
3 tablespoons water (for bouillon)
2 packs sodium-free granulated beef bouillon
3 tablespoons water (for sauce)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
4 tomatoes (peeled, seeded, and pureed)
2 bay leaves
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2-3 teaspoons white granulated sugar
3/4 pound thin spaghetti
salt (for pasta water)

Place an 11-inch sauté pan on medium heat.

Brown 1.25 pounds of ground beef in the pan.
