Season both sides of the fish with salt and white pepper.

Slice 2 English potatoes into 1cm thick rounds.

Add butter to a skillet and cook the potato slices for 5 minutes on each side.

Transfer the potato slices to an oven-safe dish.

Drizzle olive oil over the fish fillets and cook for 3 minutes.

Flip the fish fillets and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Place the fish fillets on top of the potatoes.

Pour the sauce from the skillet over the fish and potatoes, scraping the bottom of the skillet with a silicone spatula.

Cook for 3 minutes.

Spread the sauce over the fish and potatoes, cover with aluminum foil, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes.
