Soak moong dal for 2 hours.

Drain the soaked dal and grind it into a coarse paste.

Heat 4 tablespoons of ghee in a pan over medium heat.

Add the ground moong dal and 2 tablespoons of semolina to the ghee, spreading it in the pan.

Lower the flame and sauté the mixture, stirring continuously to prevent sticking.

In a separate pan, add water and sugar, bringing it to a boil.

Once boiling, lower the flame and cook for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.

After 10 minutes of sautéing the dal mixture, add the milk and sugar syrup to it.

Mix well and incorporate 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder and 2 tablespoons of ghee.

Continue to sauté until the mixture thickens and comes together, keeping the flame medium.

Add chopped almonds and pistachios, mixing well before serving.
