Traditionally made with macaroni and a rich meat sauce, it's a staple in many homes, often served during gatherings or special occasions. Today, variations abound, with some opting for different meats or vegetarian versions, showcasing the dish's versatility and enduring popularity in Brazil.

Nutritional yeast is dairy-free, and mozzarella is usually cheaper.
Start by gathering all the ingredients.
Heat a large pot over high heat.
Add 150 ml of olive oil to the pot.
Chop 150 grams of onion and 4 cloves of garlic into strips and add them to the pot.
Add 1 bell pepper (color of choice) to the pot and sauté with the onion and garlic.
Add 500 grams of shredded chicken breast to the pot; no need to wait for it to brown.
Add 1.5 liters of water to the pot.
Stir the mixture and cover the pot to bring it to pressure.
Cook for about 8 minutes under pressure.
After 8 minutes, release the pressure and check the contents.
Add 300 grams of smoked turkey breast, 200 grams of pitted olives, and a pinch of calabrian pepper to the pot.
Add 500 grams of macaroni to the pot and stir well.
Add a bit of salt to taste.
Cover the pot and cook for another 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, check the macaroni for doneness; it should be al dente.
Finally, add 200 grams of mozzarella cheese on top without stirring it into the pot to avoid it melting too much.
Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
