1

Boil 2 medium-sized potatoes skin on whole to absorb less water until fork-tender.

2

Mash the potatoes until smooth with no lumps.

3

Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder to the mashed potatoes.

4

Mix in 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs until well combined.

5

Scoop out 1 tablespoon of the mixture and make a smooth ball, placing a cheese cube in the center and sealing it well.

6

Roll the ball smooth without cracks and repeat the process for all the mixture.

7

Coat all the balls with 5 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, shaking off the excess.

8

In a bowl, beat 2 eggs with a pinch of salt for the egg wash.

9

Dip each ball in the egg wash, shaking off any excess, then coat with plain breadcrumbs.

10

Dip in the egg wash again for a double coating, then coat with panko breadcrumbs, filling any gaps with plain breadcrumbs.

11

Repeat the double coating for all the balls, ensuring not to skip this step.

12

Freeze the coated balls for 1 hour.

13

Once frozen, transfer to an airtight container without thawing before frying.

14

Deep fry the balls in small batches at medium heat until golden, keeping them rotating gently for even color.

15

Do not let them brown too much to prevent the cheese from bursting out.

16

Serve hot just after frying for a crispy outside and melted cheese inside.
