Banana Ice Cream

1 ½ cups milk
2 tbsp milk
¼ cup sugar
1 ½ tbsp cornstarch
½ cup condensed milk

Peel and slice 8 bananas (you can use 10 bananas if they are small in size). Store in an airtight plastic container and freeze for 5 hours.

In a saucepan, add milk and sugar and bring to a boil. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and 2 tbsp of milk. Add this mixture to the milk and mix well to combine without any lumps.

Once the milk has started to thicken, add the condensed milk and stir.

Turn off the heat and pour it into a bowl. Cover with cling wrap and poke a few holes in the wrap to allow the steam to escape.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

In a blender, add the frozen bananas and chilled milk mixture. Blend until smooth.

Pour into an airtight plastic container and freeze for 6 hours.
