Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

3 ripe bananas
16 oz heavy whipping cream
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
2 chocolate bars
2 tablespoons water

Melt 2 chocolate bars with 2 tablespoons of water in a saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until fully melted.

Remove melted chocolate from heat and let it cool for several minutes.

Peel the ripe bananas and cut each banana in half, placing them in a bowl.

Mash the bananas using a wire masher until completely crushed.

In an electric mixer, combine the mashed bananas and melted chocolate, mixing on low speed until well blended.

In a large mixing bowl, pour 16 oz of heavy whipping cream and beat with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form, starting on low speed and gradually increasing.

Add 14 oz of sweetened condensed milk to the whipped cream and mix on low speed until well blended.

Add the banana chocolate mixture to the whipped cream and mix until smooth.

Fold in 1/3 cup of mini chocolate chips gently into the ice cream batter.

Pour the ice cream mixture into a 1.75 quart container, spreading it evenly.

Cover the container with a tight-fitting lid and place it in the freezer overnight.

After freezing overnight, scoop the ice cream into a bowl and serve.
