This creamy delight is often served with fruit sauces or caramel, making it a versatile treat. Today, Panna Cotta is enjoyed worldwide, with countless variations incorporating different flavors and toppings.

Fresh fruit provides natural sweetness and flavor.
Bloom 1 packet of powdered gelatin with ¼ cup of champagne in a bowl and let it sit to hydrate.
In a medium saucepan, add 2 cups of half and half and heat on medium until warm, just until the sugar dissolves without steaming.
Add ¼ cup of sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the half and half while heating.
Take the saucepan off the heat and add about 1 cup of the warm milk to the gelatin mixture, stirring until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Pour the remaining milk into the gelatin mixture and stir gently.
Prepare 4 gold rimmed champagne coupe glasses for serving.
Pour the panna cotta mixture into the prepared glasses and refrigerate for 2 hours to set.
In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of quartered strawberries, ¼ cup of champagne, and ¼ cup of sugar.
Stir the strawberry mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to bubble, about 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the strawberry compote cool.
Once the panna cotta has set, top each glass with a spoonful of the strawberries and champagne compote.
