250 grams White kidney beans
3 cups Water
½ cup Oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds
2 Cinnamon sticks
2 Green cardamom
5-6 Cloves
1 medium size Onion
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger paste
Tomato puree (from 4 tomatoes)
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp Dried fenugreek leaves

In a pressure cooker, add 3 cups of water and 250 grams of white kidney beans, pressure cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.

In a pan, add ½ cup of oil, then add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 2 cinnamon sticks, 2 green cardamom, and 5-6 cloves.

Cook till light brown on medium flame.

Add 1 tsp of garlic paste and 1 tsp of ginger paste, mix well, then add tomato puree and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.

Add 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of salt, ½ tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chili powder, and 1 tsp of dried fenugreek leaves, then add the boiled kidney beans and mix well.

Cover and cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
