Bagels

100 mL warm water
2 tbsp sugar
9 g dried yeast
3 decil of all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp honey
sesame seeds
chia seeds
hemp seeds

Add 100 mL of warm water to a bowl.

Stir in 2 tbsp of sugar and 9 g of dried yeast. Mix well and cover to rest for about 7 to 10 minutes.

In a separate bowl, take 3 decil of all-purpose flour and add the yeast mixture, 1 tsp of salt, and 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Mix using a mixer or by hand.

Knead the dough for about 6 to 7 minutes until smooth.

Sprinkle some oil on the dough, mix gently, cover it, and let it rest for about 30 to 45 minutes.

Sprinkle sunflower seeds on your work surface and divide the dough into smaller portions to form bagel balls.

Prepare a pot of water and add 1 tbsp of honey to enhance the flavor.

Poke a hole in the center of each bagel ball using your finger.

Boil the bagels for 30 seconds on each side, being careful when dropping them into the water.

Place the boiled bagels on a baking sheet.

Apply egg wash on the bagels and sprinkle with sesame seeds, chia seeds, and hemp seeds.

Bake the bagels for 25 minutes at 180°C.
