Bagels

2 and 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 and 1/4 cups plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons cold water

Mix 2 and 1/2 cups of self-rising flour and 1 and 1/4 cups of plain Greek yogurt together until it forms a ball.

Use gloves to mix the dough as it gets messy.

Have some extra flour on the side to sprinkle over the workbench.

Place the dough ball in the middle of the workbench and let it rest for 15 minutes.

After resting, cut the dough into six equal parts.

Cut the dough in half, then cut each half into three pieces.

Roll each part into lengths of 9 to 10 inches.

Connect the ends of each rolled piece together to form bagel shapes on a parchment lined sheet pan.

Prepare an egg wash by mixing 1 egg with 2 tablespoons of cold water.

Brush the tops of the bagels thoroughly with the egg wash.

Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top of the bagels.

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Place the bagels in the bottom rack of the oven and bake for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, move the bagels to the top rack and bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Remove the bagels from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before cutting into one.
