1/2 cup overnight soaked sorghum millet
1/4 cup moong dal
1/2 coconut for coconut milk
1/2 cup jaggery powder
1-2 tbsp ghee

Rinse the sorghum and millet under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a large pot, combine the rinsed sorghum, millet, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 30-40 minutes, or until the grains are tender and the water is absorbed.

Stir in the jaggery (or brown sugar) and salt, mixing well until dissolved.

Add the cardamom powder and mix thoroughly.

Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Once cooled, fold in the grated coconut and chopped nuts.

Transfer to a serving dish and let it set for about 10 minutes before serving.
