In a mixing bowl, add flour and a pinch of salt.

Make a little well in the center and crack in 2 eggs.

Add a splash of milk and whisk until smooth.

Slowly pour in the rest of the milk while whisking continuously.

Pour the batter into a jug for easy pouring later.

Add 1 teaspoon of oil into each hole of a 12-hole bun tin or 1 tablespoon per hole if using a 4-hole tin.

Place the tray into the oven for 5 minutes to get the oil sizzling hot.

Carefully remove the hot tray from the oven and quickly pour the batter evenly into the holes or tin.

Place it straight back into the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or around 35 minutes if using a roasting tin.
