Sift all-purpose flour into a large bowl.

Add salt to the flour and whisk together.

Add milk to the flour (not enough was added initially).

Add 3 whole eggs and whisk until smooth (note: beating eggs beforehand would help).

Chill the batter.

Preheat the oven to 425°F and heat a muffin tin.

Pour about 1 centimeter of oil into the bottom of each muffin cup.

Return the muffin tin to the oven to heat the oil until hot.

Fill the muffin cups with batter (note: using a pitcher next time would be faster).

Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
