En un recipiente, agregar 1/4 taza de agua tibia y 1 cucharadita de azúcar; mezclar y añadir 2 cucharadas de levadura seca.
Cubrir y dejar reposar por 10 a 15 minutos hasta que la levadura crezca.
En un tazón grande, hacer un hueco en 4 tazas de harina y añadir la mezcla de levadura.
Agregar 1 lata de leche de coco, 4 cucharadas de azúcar moreno, 1 cucharada de sal y 2 cucharadas de aceite de coco.
Amasar la mezcla durante 5 a 8 minutos hasta que la masa esté suave y no se pegue a las manos.
Cubrir la masa con un paño y dejar reposar por 1 hora hasta que doble su tamaño.
Engrasar un molde con margarina o aceite.
Amasar la masa nuevamente durante 3 minutos, luego dividirla en porciones y formar bolitas.
Dejar reposar las bolitas en el molde por 30 minutos.
Precalentar el horno a 350°F (175°C).
Hornear el pan por 30 minutos hasta que esté dorado.
Dejar enfriar un poco antes de servir.
