Masala Peanuts, a popular Indian snack, originated as a street food, often enjoyed during tea time or as a crunchy accompaniment to drinks. Their spicy, savory flavor makes them a favorite at parties and gatherings. Today, variations exist across India, with different spices and nuts being incorporated, showcasing the dish's versatility and widespread appeal.

Almond flour is lower in carbs and gluten-free.

Coconut oil adds flavor while vegetable oil is cost-effective.
In a mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup besan, 1/4 cup rice flour, 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon hing.
Mix all the dry ingredients together well and ensure no lumps are formed.
Gradually add water little by little to make a thick paste, being careful while adding water.
Add 2 cups of peanuts to the mixture and mix well to ensure the peanuts are well coated with the masala.
After 5 minutes, add 5 cloves of crushed garlic to the mixture without mashing them.
Add 1 teaspoon of rice flour to the mixture for a dry coating on the peanuts.
Heat oil in a pan and add the coated peanuts to fry on medium flame.
Remove the peanuts from the oil when they turn golden brown.
(Optional) Add some chaat masala to the peanuts after frying for additional flavor.
