Originating in Sweden, Scandinavian Almond Cake is a beloved dessert that showcases the region's affinity for almonds and rich flavors. Traditionally enjoyed during festive occasions, this cake is often served with coffee or tea, embodying the concept of 'fika'—a cherished Swedish coffee break. Today, variations can be found across Scandinavia and beyond, with many adding their own twists, such as fruit or spices, while still honoring its classic roots.
