1

In a large pot, place a little bit of hot water.

2

Put a heat proof glass bowl on top of the pot.

3

Add 450 grams of semi-sweet chocolate chips into the bowl.

4

Pour 300 milliliters of sweetened condensed milk on top of the chocolate chips.

5

Let the hot water heat the bowl for about five minutes to start melting the chocolate and condensed milk.

6

Stir the mixture after five minutes to help it melt evenly.

7

Let it melt for another five minutes, stirring occasionally until fully melted.

8

Prepare a 9-inch square baking pan lined with parchment paper.

9

Pour the melted fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it into the corners.

10

Optionally, sprinkle sea salt on top or add walnuts or pecans if desired.

11

Place the pan in the fridge for about one to two hours to set.

12

Check the fudge after 40 minutes; it may already be solid enough to remove from the fridge.

13

Use a knife to go around the edges of the fudge to loosen it from the pan.

14

Optionally, use another piece of parchment paper to help lift the fudge out of the pan.

15

Transfer the fudge to a cutting board and cut it into desired sizes.
