Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Combine 1 cup self-rising flour, 1 cup sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.

Melt 1 stick of butter.

Add 1 cup of milk to the dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.

Add the melted butter to the mixture and stir.

Prepare the peach filling by draining a can of peaches and adding it to a pot along with some of its juice.

Add 1/2 cup brown sugar and the juice of 1/2 lemon to the pot with peaches and heat on medium flame.

Pour the batter over the peach filling in a casserole dish.

Bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
