In the same pot, add a teaspoon of butter and sauté chopped shallots, bell peppers, and onions for about 2 minutes until soft.
Add the ground beef back to the pot and season with creole seasoning, seasoned salt, adobo, and garlic.
Squeeze half a lime into the meat mixture and stir well.
Add a teaspoon of mustard and mix thoroughly, then turn off the heat.
Mash the hot potatoes in a bowl, adding softened butter and a splash of evaporated milk until desired consistency is reached.
Spray a baking dish with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.
Spread half of the mashed potatoes in the bottom of the baking dish.
Add the meat mixture on top of the mashed potatoes.
Spread the remaining mashed potatoes over the meat layer.
Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Dot the top with softened butter.
Bake in the oven at 350°F for 30-35 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
