300g vermicelli
40g butter
1/2 tsp orange food color
200ml milk
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cornflour
80g cheese (mozarella)
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp rose water
1/4 tsp lemon juice

Prepare the sugar syrup by combining 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/4 tsp of rose water, and 1/4 tsp of lemon juice in a saucepan and bring to a boil until the sugar dissolves.

In a separate pan, melt 40g of butter and add 300g of vermicelli, stirring until evenly coated.

Add 200ml of milk, 2 tbsp of sugar, and 2 tbsp of cornflour to the vermicelli mixture and mix well.

Incorporate 80g of mozzarella cheese into the mixture and stir until melted and combined.

Add 1/2 tsp of orange food color to the mixture for color.

Once the mixture is ready, transfer it to a baking dish and flatten it out.

Bake until golden brown and crispy on top.

Once baked, pour the prepared sugar syrup over the hot kunafa and garnish with pistachios.
